On behalf of CBRE Global Investors, KiesZon has installed 14,000 solar panels at a distribution center in Nieuwegein (the Netherlands) that is owned by the international real estate investor. The solar panels annually produce approximately 3,500,000 kWh of green electricity. CBRE Global Investors invests in sustainable and future-proof commercial real estate over the entire world. Improving energy efficiency, reducing CO2 emissions and combating climate change are spearheads in the organisation's investment strategy.
KiesZon, a 100% subsidiary of energy supplier Greenchoice, started the implementation of the solar roof in Nieuwegein after engineers from KiesZon had drawn up the solar power system in detail. By paying extra attention to the development of a solar roof, a higher efficiency and a better return can be achieved. This is therefore an important aim in the realization of each KiesZon solar power project.
