Investment rationale

Acuity generates 70% of its revenue from LED-based products. These LED-based lighting solutions help consumers and businesses to conserve energy because LED is a more energy efficient solution than conventional lighting. To illustrate this, Acuity believes that its LED luminaires have saved 7.1b kwh in energy, which is equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of 870.000 homes. Furthermore, Acuity also sells intelligent lighting controllers and sensors, to enable smart use of electricity and thus contributing to energy saving.
