Founded in 2001, JetDrinks originally aimed to combat obesity by offering products without added sugars. Over the years, the company has diversified its product range, emphasising organic, vegan, and reduced or sugar-free options, all while maintaining its commitment to creating positive societal impact.
JetDrinks’ product assortment includes various own brands and 45 external brands, which it distributes to a network of 4,500 partners. An example of an own brand is Walden, an organic beverage. External brands include Naturfrisk (organic sodas and part of the Triodos Food Transition Europe Fund portfolio), Clipper (organic tea), Dryk (plant-based milk), Nix & Kix (low-sugar drinks) and BOS (organic iced tea). JetDrinks is a strongly committed ambassador for these brands in the Benelux and constantly adds new, innovative concepts to its portfolio, such as CBD-infused drinks, coconut water and kombucha.
JetDrinks aims to become a partner of choice for sustainable and innovative food products in the Benelux. Co-founder and CEO Dmitri Peters comments: “We are very proud to have Triodos Food Transition Europe Fund on board as an investor for this next phase. We share the same values when it comes to sustainability and growing business in a healthy and responsible way. Jelle (Schmidt, co-founder) and I see a lot of possibilities for further growth with Triodos Food Transition Europe Fund as our partner and we are looking forward to jointly seizing these opportunities.”
With this investment, Triodos Food Transition Europe Fund re-enters the Dutch market. Senior Investment Manager Petra Spaargaren: “We are excited to welcome JetDrinks to our portfolio. The current foodservice menu needs disruption as it is still dominated by traditional players that often give lower priority to organic, sustainable and healthy options. We are looking forward to supporting JetDrinks’ growth journey to be the leading provider of sustainable, innovative beverages and snacks in the Benelux.”
